Part Time Refund
Policy (Includes Online Courses)
Part-time
Students withdrawing from course(s) via CentralPipeline, which
results in a "refund" situation, must notify Continuing
Education to ensure that a timely refund will be processed.
Fall and
Spring Semesters -
Courses
greater than eight weeks in length: 100% refund of course fees
the first week of university wide classes as defined by the
university calendar; 50% refund of course fees during the second
and third week of classes; no refund after the third week of
classes.
Courses three
to eight weeks in length: 100% of course fees prior to the
second class meeting; 50% of course fees prior to the third
class meeting; no refund after the third class meeting.
Winter and
Summer Sessions -
Courses three
weeks to eight weeks in length: 100% of course fees prior to the
second class meeting; 50% of course fees prior to the third
class meeting; no refund after the third class meeting.
Registration
Fee is a non-refundable fee except in cases where the university
cancels a course. The schedule above applies to courses offered
on campus, off-campus and through OnlineCSU. There
is an additional $50 non-refundable fee for each online course.
Please Note:
Full-time students who
change their status after the start of classes to part-time and
then withdraw during the first week of classes will be assessed
a 40% withdrawal penalty.
